Bracers
Bracers are
probably the most common form of armor you will see at Faires, LARP or SCA
events. While seeing bracers at these events
are common, you can stand out from the rest by personalizing your own pair with
the help of

examples of some of the bracers that have been produced by VL. To customize your own pair, choose from the many
shapes below or supply us with your own idea for the shape. Then, choose a pattern or design from the
samples below or supply us with your own artwork. After that, let us know the color combination
for your piece.

Standard
Bracers The Standard shape bracer is the most common bracer. It is somewhat tube shaped and flat on both
ends. Uses lace as closures on the

Hand Guard
Bracers Similar to the Standard shape bracer, the Hand Guard shape bracer
is design features a partial hand guard which protects the back of the hand
from blows. Uses lace as closures on

Bracers The End-Point shape bracer features a point on the upper end of

reptile Bracers Reptile shape bracers feature four triangle shaped scales down

Gothic Bracers Gothic shape bracers are made of four
overlapping sections of leather. Each
section ends in a point. Uses lace as

organic Bracers Organic shape bracers feature a natural
shape that flares out on the sides.

Angular Bracers Angular shape bracers are the exact
opposite of the organic bracers. They
flare out on the sides as well but feature angles instead of the
roundness. Uses straps and buckles as

steel shield Bracers Steel Shield bracers consist of a steel
shield shape riveted to a sturdy leather backing. Available only with buckle closure. |

scale mail Bracers Scale Mail bracers have overlapping
steel scales that increase protection and give it a dragon look. |

gothic pauldrons Gothic shape
pauldrons are made to complement our other Gothic Style armor. Fastened into place with
four buckles in total, two buckles across the chest and two on each arm. As
with all our armor, all rivets are hand-peined and made of solid steel. For an

roman pauldrons Roman shape pauldrons
use simple rectangular pieces to cover the shoulders. The uniform surface allows patterns to be
